Special Events at AGDT

Amanda Gagnon Dog Training is the only training organization in New York City with an established Department of Community Engagement. Our approach emphasizes a grassroots, community-based philosophy that nurtures the dog-loving community of the Upper West Side and the greater NYC area. We frequently host lectures and info sessions for local shelters, vets, and day cares. We also run free-or-no-cost events for our clients. Recent examples include: AGDT Summer Camp, our annual Halloween Monster Mash, free holiday game nights, agility events in Riverside Park, and our Easter Egg Hunt Fundraiser to benefit the NYC ACC.

Upcoming Special Events!

AGDT’s Easter Egg Hunt 4/4!

This year, we’re thrilled to announce that AGDT’s signature spring celebration will serve as a tiered payment fundraiser for the Animal Cares Center of New York City.
We’ll gather in the park to enjoy some fun nose work with the ever-stellar AGDT training team. Our dogs will learn how to find hidden eggs with their noses along with their human collaborators—then we will let loose to find some eggs!! Of course, the eggs will contain prizes, and we’ll celebrate the season with our human friends and neighbors!

How It Works:

Select one single hour time slot from the available options. When registering choose your contributuion tier. We have suggested contributuons of $25, $75, or $150. If you’d like to pay more, or less, contact our office! All profits will be dontated to the ACC.

What to Expect:

30+ minutes of hunting for treat (and prize!) filled eggs with your AGDT friends. Candy, stickers, tattoos, and fairy hair from our Salon Riz family!
