Overnight training is a great way to ensure that your dog is loved (and trained!) by professionals while you are away.
All overnight care is customized to suit the needs of you and your dog. There is a minimum of three days required to book overnight care, because dogs need a little bit of time to adjust to a new training program and begin to see results. We require an initial consultation to ensure you are signing up for the right service and to design your training plan. We also require a final transfer session to be booked before you travel to ensure that all training is transferred over to you in a timely way.
Overnight care is $350/night.
Each stay requires a three night minimum, an initial consultation, and a final transfer session.
Discounts are available for stays of more than one week.
Puppy Board and Train
Our puppy board and train program was developed at the request of local veterinarians who were searching for an ideal option for the many humans who are in need of a place to leave their puppy while they are traveling. Puppies who are not yet fully vaccinated need special care, attention, and sanitary conditions in order to thrive. Without these conditions, puppies can get sick or develop severe behavior problems while you are away. When a puppy stays with AGDT we ensure that they have the healthiest conditions possible. We also continue and upgrade your current training routine. We accept a maximum of two puppies at a time to ensure that each puppy receives plenty of one-on-one attention from our trainer. Your puppy will be tended to by professional dog trainers throughout her stay, socialized with other puppies during our famous puppy socials, and trained according to our highest standards. Each overnight stay is customized to suit the needs of the individual family.
Adolescent or Adult Dog Board and Train
Adult dog board and train programs are for current clients who need additional help with behavior issues while they are traveling. Board and train programs are ideal for dogs who have issues that would benefit from increased exposure to new places and people. Each dog is cared for at our facility as if she were our own dog, trained each day according to the needs of the dog, and lovingly given all needed daily care. Some dogs may not be ideal candidates for board and train due to the nature of their behavior issues.
Pet-Sit and Train
For dogs who are not an ideal fit for board and train, pet-sit and train may be the best option. Pet-sits take place in your home while you are away. Pet-sits are beneficial for behavior issues that are context specific (they occur in or around the home), and for behavior issues that limit a dog from being in the presence of other dogs and humans at our training facility. One of our trainers will attend to all of your dog’s daily needs and administer the customized training plan designed during your initial consultation.
